The original black colani tweezer is the best. I have had mine for many yearsand they still work wonderfully. About 5 years ago I wanted a second pair. I love the color red, so I bought the red ones. They have not lived up to the quality of the original black handled ones. The transparent red plastic-like ergonomic grip has cracked in many places, and they do not tweeze half as accurately since this happened. I don't know if it is the difference in the ergonomic grip materials or what, but the black ones are the best.
